Aircel today launched one paise per second billing tariff in the metro circle of Delhi enabling its subscribers to make local and STD calls for one paise per second.

International calls will also be charged at per second pulse though the rates will vary from country to country.

“With per second pulse a subscriber will only pay for what he uses. It’s a complete value-for-money offer wherein a subscriber making a call for 12 seconds will pay only 12 paise and not Re. 1,” said a company statement.

Aircel launched its services in the Delhi circle in March this year.

With Aircel “Pay per Pulse Plan” there is a limit on the STD usage – upto 1,000 seconds per day will be charged at 1 paise, after which STD calls will be charged at 2 paise per second.
