I have the G1 and i am very happy with it. The problem is that i am not happy with T-Mobile Service

I have been to 3 or 4 sprint stores. every salesperson recommends the blackberry tour over the Palm Pre. When I ask please be honest with me, they roll their eyes and say you don’ want that one, meaning the Pre. Anyone else with the same experience
I have 380 apps on a 3GS and a choice from over 65,000 more I could download. The camera on the iPhone 3GS is very easy to use and remarkable for quick video uploads. The physical quality I saw of the Pre was a complete turn off.
The Pre only makes sense if you are stuck in with Sprint IMHO. That said I feel sorry for you if you have one.

dude ive had the iphone for 2 years and i loved it alot. Now i have the pre which is amazing, like it just as much as my iphone but the iphone apps are sick and tasking is gr8 too. As of now the iphone wins but maybe in a few months the pre will have the edge. BTW the pre and the iphone are so similar because 2 execs from apple that helped design the iphone worl for palm and helped design the pre.
winner has got to be the iphone 3GS no doubt about it, but.

the “backgrounder” from cydia(for multitasking) and so much more waaayyyy useful apps than the regular itunes app store and most of them are for free.
cydia >ultrasn0w(for unlocking),imobilecinema(for playing flashvideo onmobile safari),(tethering),(recieve texts&calls from specific numbers only) and soomuch more to customize your iphone.
i agree. multitasking always wins. its interesting how their software is so similar. did the pre steal it from the iphone or visa-versa?

well it depends on what you want. if you want a multi media phone that is really fun, than the iPhone is better. If you like surfing the web, txting, or sending emails than the Pre is better.
my friends parents own an iphone.. the only complant was the failure to multitask.. pandora must be closed to do other things… and i own a pre and have maybe 5 cards open at one time… for example.. go to craigslist for a car.. then wiki pedia for the ifo on that car.. pre winn hands down
iPhone is the best of all of these but the Storm is really good but the Storm is a crapy keyboard.
