Computer monitors never have USB ports. I checked all over and there are none. :(

I use two monitors at work from Dell that have USB ports, and I’ve got all sort of stuff running off them. I don’t know if there are “touch screen” monitors with USB ports, but there are definitely regular LCD monitors with USB ports.

j1165 there are no monitors with USB ports. I can’t plug my iPhone 3GS to a touch screen monitor. And he didn’t plug in his iPod touch to his monitor, he installed the iPod touch firmware onto his mac pro CPU.

It cant be too hard just, plug your Ipod or Iphone into your touch screen monitor or Hard Drive!!! Just like the TomTom GPS you can run it on your computer as long as you got a usb cord for it.

Guys, he says how he did it in the link in his description. It’s a neat trick, and had me fooled till he started rotating the screen.

I don’t know exactly how he did it but… that monitor is not touchable. But the most important thing is that the author recognized that was a fake just to study the popularity of the idea.

You can only play videos and photos with the AV cable, you won’t be able to see the menus on the iPod or anything like that.
