Being a smartass if fun you should try it. You’re irritated but I maintain my happiness. Anyways, i never said the 3G was the first multi-touch phone. I said the iPhone 1st Gen was; and prior to that multi-touch had only major use with military devices such as the one by ESRI. The difference between the 3G and the 3G S is the ARM Cortex-A8
833 MHz underclocked to 600 MHz
PowerVR SGX GPU when compared to the 412 MHz in the 3G. The Palm Pre has a 500 MHz Ti OMAP 3430 ARM CortexA8PowerVR SGX :D

first of all, your basically saying blah blah blah is the first window mobile phone( any phone with new software not used before). that is irrevalent. and the iPhone
3g is not the first to use the multi touch technology… nobody gives a shit.. if it was the first to use multitouch. it does make it any newer.. the iPhone is the same old stuff like i said before… so stop it with your smartass shit cause you sound like an idiot.

What a retard!!! If you’re gonna do review it might be nice to know all the features. The Palm Pre icons are NOT hard coded or HARD SET as you mentioned. You can do the same thing that the iPhone can do. You move in and out the icons you want or don’t want. Tard!

I hate touchscreen keyboards. My fingers tend to slide onto other keys and crap. I like hitting REAL keys with feel so I know I’m not hitting anything else. Thats just me though. Just because its cramped doesnt mean you cant use it. You saw him use it, right?

lol was it raining in there? 1:41 to 1:51 lmao!!! how in the hell do you think that little cramped up as keyboard is better than iphones landscape mode keyboard?!! also how is the ugly palm pre “relatively” thin! that thing is a brick. The only thing it has going for it is the multitasking thats it the pre is awful, and when you do a comparison try using the newest version of each phone and not be biased it is “relatively” obvious that you are more partial to the palm pre.

And to continue my smartass comment I would like to point out that the HTC Touch never incorporated Multi-Touch in its June 2007 release. It has TouchFLO which allows similar gestures but the technology is still not multitouch. Apple intorduced the iPhone, marking the first time multi-touch technology was used on a phone, by hiring FingerWorks.

I’d agree with you, but Palm pretty much started the Smart Device revolution and are way ahead of Apple in terms of smart features. I own an iPhone 3G and will always prefer it to a Palm Pre

  12. Comment by urway2lo — September 22, 2009 @ 5:33 am

first of all, the “first” is the iPhone not the iPhone 3g… or 3gs.. second of all the , the htc touch was the first mulitouch phone… what is new about the 3gs compared to the 3g? A little compass and a video camcorder and 1.0 mexapixel upgraded calender? same old stuff. same look, same apps, same thing, its getting boring, btw stop buddin in my conversation like your part of it… i was talking to someone else not you… so dont go in with your little smartass comment cause its plain stupid.

the 20% ext. battery is 45$ and the 90% ext. battery is 65$- I think Im gonna get that cuz mine only lasts about 8 hours right now

  21. Comment by urway2lo — October 6, 2009 @ 10:24 am

yea im getting the pre but the battery isnt good dude… u could get an extended battery from sedio tht can double your life.. I prefer the pre over the iPhone because the iPhone is the same old stuff… i want something new… gestures, cards, multitasking, etc. so you can always fix the battery problem.

  22. Comment by girotube — October 7, 2009 @ 5:52 am

bad battery? forget it! I want it but I already lost a lot of money with the instinct LOL.. what a trash rip off..

The new iPhone has better battery!,, But I want a Pre… aaaaaaarrghh!

like he said, it feels more natural than a virtual keyboard and its easier to find the buttons youre looking for, plus most phones have cramped keyboards like that and they really arent hard to manage once youve used them for a while.
