I have an iPhone. I will probably get the Hero because of the background processing and the multi-tasking. Push notification on the iPhone is ridiculus. You have to close up apps just to respond to messages. THAT’S WHACK!

In my opinion Hero would win, if it wasn’t that laggy… I love the way it looks and i believe that android market soon will reach the appstore. I am really thinking about buying it…

I found that a class 6 mini sd card removed the lag. It looks like the hero caches stuff to the sd so a slow sd affects it greatly.

hahaha. do you know how long people have been using that argument? ever since the g1 came out people were claiming that within a few months android would pass up apple in number of apps. Android and everyone else is so far away from catching up to apple its not even funny. Apple has about 60,000+ apps. I don’t even think android is at 10k yet.

When exactly this guy has lost his mind?
He is comparing point less phones where iphone is best on its side and HTC hero best on its side. I would recomend HTC hero B’coz i have used both. And found Hero Its UNIQ Mobile phone where i have never seen before. IF anyone use it Automatically will be understood by user.

hahaha i really don’t care what people say. you just can’t beat the iphone because apple has the biggest baddest app store by miles.

the iphone is a smartphone according to wikipedia from this quote - the normal or norm condition which a cellular phone is consider or called a smartphone has internet connectivity and email capibilities.

  16. Comment by somerandomguywithpsp — September 25, 2009 @ 1:21 pm

The industry considers phones that has internet+email=smartphone according to wikipedia so the iPhone is a smartphone and also look at the productivity section of the app store. They have some great apps I wish I had on my G1 :(

from what i can tell the brightness on the hero remained stock. stock meaning its at about 33% brightness

what are you talking about? the hardware in the hero itself is great. but the new htc sense and rosie UI needs to be optimized more. devs on devs always try to optimize their hero rom builds.

eternity is jsut a regular phone tho.

htc hero is coming out for sprint first. but in FCC documents, the hero passes with ATT frequencies listed.. so it could come out for att,but its not confirmed

  23. Comment by brianv3ntura — October 6, 2009 @ 6:33 am

becuz the iphone is not even the best touch phone out there.. right now the best touch phones in power and productivity which is important is phones running android, winmo, and web os. iphone is not a smartphone. it lacks the productive feature

jailbreaking still doesn’t open to easy customization. And is technically illegal. Can’t be the best when you have to change it yourself and isn’t proved to you by the company. And I own an iPod Touch and it is infact jailbroken.
